On Monday night, the Lady Eagles went 2-0 with wins against Texas Wesleyan and College of the Ozarks (Mo.) at their home opener. These two wins give JBU a season record of 13-2.

In their second match of the day against Ozarks, freshman Audery Dearien made an impressive showing with 20 kills followed by senior Erin Dider with 11.

This weekend the Lady Eagles won three of their four matches at Baker. Their only loss was against Graceland (Iowa), currently No.8 in the NAIA Division I standings, with a final score of 1-3 on Friday afternoon.

The Lady Eagles won the rest of their matches against Baker (Kan), Benedictine (Kan) and Friends (Kan).

Dearien led JUB in kills with 66 over all, most coming from the matches against Baker and Benedictine. Didier followed her with 59 kills, giving her 200 total kills so far this season.

The Lady Eagles will begin the annual John Brown University Invitational on Friday at 12 p.m. against Peru State (Neb.).
