This movie is easily a great film for almost everyone. Most people are entertained with watching it, the only main complaint retaining to the duration of the film as its 2 hour and 19 minute runtime could have easily been shortened at points to not drag on. Despite this one complaint, most people enjoy its action scenes, with parts of it being very well done, and the comedy that constantly delivers plenty of laughs that help the film find its own rhythm. The action is very reminiscent of the Kingsman movies with some parts being over-the-top, while other smaller aspects not making entirely much sense but still providing a great time for audiences. The comedy, while cheezy and over-the-top at points throughout the film, left a long-lasting impression on many viewers with theaters filled with the sound of laughter.
Altogether, this movie is very entertaining and well-down with the action and comedy complementing one another in a unique way to make it more enjoyable for audiences. The story has an interesting plot, but frankly people are appreciating the film for being fun and enjoyable, most likely the desirable intent of the director for audiences of all ages.
“Argylle” is playing in local theaters and would help to make a great movie date or just a fun outing with a group of friends.
