President Chip Pollard and family will be moving to Australia for three months, Pollard announced at today’s welcome back chapel. They will leave Sept. 8 and return in time for the Candlelight services and graduation in December.
The board of trustees granted Pollard’s request for a sabbatical, he told students. But the trip will not only be a vacation. Instead, Pollard said he intends to use the time to work on some writing projects.
