The Lady Eagles begin their season with an overall record of 4-0 after competing in a tournament hosted by Texas Wesleyan last weekend.
JBU began the tournament by picking up a 3-1 win against their host before sweeping St. Thomas-Houston 3-0 later in the day. The next morning the Lady Eagles won a close five-set game against Kansas Wesleyan before facing Wiley College soon after. The Lady Eagles were able to win once again, making them the tournament’s only undefeated team.
Tomorrow JBU will travel to Bartlesville, Okla. to face Oklahoma Wesleyan. OKWU currently has an overall record of 2-2.
